A friend of the family was kind enough to take up the older boys in a plane yesterday. They were very excited. They even got the chance to "drive". It was very special for both Jonah and Noah.

Jonah's Baptism
Our sweet Jonah was baptized on Sunday, August 24th during our morning church services. We were so excited to have several extended family members present. He told me that he had been waiting for this his "whole life".

Easter Sunday
After Sunday morning services, we came home and ate an easy lunch. Then it was Easter egg hunting time! The children had so much fun. We used plastic eggs this year because Momma wasn't up to dyeing eggs but the kids didn't seem to mind. (And you don't have to worry about finding a rotten one under the sofa in three weeks!

Upwards Basketball 2008
This is the first time Jonah has participated in organized sports. We are very happy with the Upwards program. Every game and practice included a devotional. The boys earned awards for memorizing Bible verses. Everyone got equal playing time. His coach was very understanding and didn't yell. We appreciated all of this. Jonah had a great time playing and learned so much about the game.
